The IELTS is a test acknowledged worldwide and utilized for evaluating proficiency in English language. Whether you are getting ready for studying, working, or moving to a new country, it is crucial to prepare thoroughly in order to obtain a good score.
The structure of the IELTS test.
The IELTS exam is segmented into four parts: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Every part evaluates a unique skill and adheres to a particular structure.
1. Listening: Four recordings will be played for you to respond to 40 questions. This part of the session goes on for 30 minutes.
2. Comprehension: This part consists of 40 questions from three passages, lasting for 60 minutes. The examination varies depending on Academic or General Training.
3. Writing: You must finish two assignments within a 60-minute time frame. In Academic, Task 1 requires analyzing a graph or chart, whereas General Training involves composing a letter. Essay for both versions is Task 2.
4. A spoken conversation taking place in person for a duration of 11-14 minutes. It consists of an opening, a brief talk, and a conversation about a specific subject.
